Help with License plate lights

Hi there, yeah I'm new, just bought a 97 Sunfire conv., and I can't get the License plates to work, bulbs are good, can't find a fuse, like I said, HELP??, thanks Jer....

your license plate lights run off the power from your taillights. Find out if the wires are bad from either your right or left taillight to the licence plate lights.
