remote keyless entry module

I bought a 1995 Ford F150 XLT recently however the dealer that I bought it from did not have a keyless entry transmitter (fob) for it. He wasn't sure if this truck had this option on it or not. He thought that the VIN # could be used to access the "build sheet" for my truck and that document would tell me if it has the keyless entry module system on it. Can anyone help me with instructions on how to acquire the "build sheet" information? If that is not possible, can anyone help me with the location of the keyless entry module? I have purchased a keyless entry fob and programming directions from ebay but I am having trouble locating the programming module and necessary connector under the dash? Maybe my truck does not have this option. Please help...

You should not have to hunt for anything to program an f150. Insert key in ignition and turn the key to the switch position( all dash lights on) 9 times Vehicle will lock then depress button on fob. If this does not work there could be two problems its not equipped with factory keyless entry system or the remote you purchased is not for the year. Check the part number on rear and call the dealer to match part numbers.

I was wondering, if you could tell me the location of the R.K.E. module is for a 2000 f-150. I know it doesnt have it already because I did the key switch trick, and nothing happened. I want to find one in a junkyard, and install in my wifes truck. Any info would be helpfull. thanks
