2002 Computer

I have a 2002 Max complete with an information computer. Only snag is ... it is so inaccurate. When I fill up it tells me I have 560km until empty, but I actually only ever get about 480 km, also it shows my gas consumption as 11l/100km (average) but it never works out like that when I fill up. What MPG / KMG are you guys getting, 480km / tank seems low to me. I am running the Auto box.

I too have noticed that the 2k2 computer seems a bit liberal in its DTE estimates when I first fuel up.

However I have noticed things get a lot more accurate if I reset the MPG (I guess you would have l/km) after cruising for a few minutes.

I'll get about 320 miles to the tank. If I open it up alot I'll average about
22 mpg. With the 6 speed its hard not to open it up once in a while.
