The other morning I'd started the '99 Rodeo to go to work, then shut it off for I'd forgotten something. When I tried to restart it, at first it wouldnt crank, then there was a LOUD thud under the hood and then cranked right up. I popped the hood and saw nothing loose, smoking or otherwise. It still runs good, however I can hear a 'tingling' noise while on the highway. Any ideas as to why and what?

Popped a fuse?
A cat (as in the meow meow type). I've read stories about cats curling up in the rad fan area before.
time will tell.

Not a fuse... and I thought it might have been a small animal of some type. Never found a body...

Have you checked to see if your "serpent"-ine belt is still alive? :evillol:
