Has anyone seen the new Suzuki GSX-R4? It is a very lightweight sports car powered by a production Hayabusa motorcycle engine.

As some people know, I love lightweight. I fancy myself as a modern day Colin Chapman. So this car appeals to me:)
Its styling isn't that graceful, but at least it is functional, and small (ie, light), and the wheels do a really good job of adding purpose to this car. And the motorcycle engine fits very nicely in the rear. And the inbound shocks look very F-1, and also help by allowing the body to be much shorter, and the ride to be better, by having longer shocks.
This would make a great toy-car for people with some money lying around, say, 19K??

Yeah, it'd be a blast to drive around town... now if only it had headlights.

There are lights, they are vertical slits (likely fiber optic cables bringing light from a central location or other exotic lighting.)

I didn't think they could fit projectors in that small a space...
My sources tell me Lotus is going to produce the M250 after all, probably for 2004/05.
I'm out of champagne though...

it has an aluminum space frame, double wishbone suspension, and is powered by a 165 hp 1.3 litre engine from Suzuki's GSX-R 1300 motorcyle that can do 180 mph.

The GSX-R Hayabusha could do about 210mph without the unofficial faxtory limiter. Thats crazy-fast for a bike.
