ok, im taking some usless crap out of my car to get rid of some weight. Spare tire and jack are gone, rear hatch speakers removed, rear seat belts removed and added an aluminum flywheel. How much weight You guys think i lost atleast 50 lbs right? Im gonna eventually relocate the battery to the rear to gain some traction.

No offense....
But weight reduction doesn't help nearly as much as weight transfer.
Suspension will get you to hook. 50 pounds will only shave off .05 seconds at the track. So unless you just can't seem to break into the 12's, 13's, or whatever, it really isn't worth it.
I race full weight. Making power is this season, and fully using that power is next season. The only thing my car won't have that it should will be A/C. I don't use it anyways. Plus, I have to counter the add-on to the front I am putting in with the iron block. I figure when all is said and done, I should be maybe 45-55 pounds heavier.

ahh but what the almighty mr. luos doesn't know, is that im currently researching weight transfer now and am getting drag springs and suspension upgrades next. Thus the battery relocation.
