Pass Key Fault 94 Caprice

I went out to start my car which was starting every time until now. The car won't do anything past the on position. The Pass Key fault light remains on. Any suggestions or experience with this in the past?

sounds like a battery connection problem. if it has a delco battery they like to leak acid out around the pos terminal. thus causing a bad connection. as far as the pass-lock system, they usually start and die every time. hope this helps

If it's not the battery, try a different key. Otherwise, to disable the PassKey system, you will have to read the Passkey resistance and just jump the system out in the steering column.
