Clutch Part???

what is the part that is between the master cylinder and the slave cylinder? the clutch master cylinder line runs to it then there is a line that runs out of it to the slave cylinder? its mounted near the right fender on the block. and can it go bad?

you're talking about the clutch dampner. it is bolted to the transmission. you don't need it, get rid of it. they sell a steel braided clutch line kit at RRE for $20 that will eliminate it.

it slows down and smooths out how the pedal feels. RRE is Road Race Engineering.
