Yes, you want the obdII version. I purchased mine a few days ago and I'm going to get it tomorrow morning. Which palm pilot are you going to use? Don't forget you need a SERIAL (not the usb) hotsync cable to connect the palm to the pocketlogger.

Tell me if the cradle works for you later then. My m130 I'm getting off ebay also comes with a cradle, but I think it's usb so I got a serial cable off ebay.

Good luck tuning. Yes, that's for the OBDII port that our cars use.

You will need to find the cable for the m105 (which is the same Palm I use (see my sig). Believe me you REALLY need to pick up a serial cable. I used my cradle for about 30 minutes before I was back on ebay picking up the other cable. Every 10 seconds the palm would fall out of the cradle and you would screw up your log. Also there is no way to mount it in the car, which is nice if you want to see what is going on while you are cruising. Just my opinion.
Also, a couple of recommendations for you: I had problems with my palm erasing the memeory everytime I replaced the batteries. I have found that replacing the batteries one at a time, while being careful not to touch the screen, saves the memory (most of the times :banghead:). Also after you run the byte timing test, write down your numbers. Place a memo in the palm of your registration number. Then hotsync. These things help if and when your batteries do die. Make sure you keep a nice stash of batteries in the glove box. I found that the energizer Li ion batteries seem to work the best/longest.
Enjoy!
