trouble code po720

Ok folks, now I'm getting somewhere.....PO720 is the output low speed sensor circuit malfunction. Would it be safe to assume the sensor is bad or just something in the entire circuit, which could be anything?? Anyone out there have any experiences they would share on this trouble code? Again , there are no drivability issues as of yet. Can any one tell me where on the tranny this located? Thanks, Brian

The speed sensor is located on left bottom side of trans. There are test that can be done but the basic will be bad sensor, bad wiring to pcm, or bad pcm. If you have scan tool you can see if it is working.

There are two speed sensors, one on the tranny and one on the rear differential.

The speed sensor he wants is in left bottom side of trans. The one in rear differential is the abs speed sensor.
