i cant believe im saying this

well, if any of you remember (which you probably dont), i used to have 2nd generation altezza tail lights. realizing these lights were incredibly played out, i sold them and bought some red/clears. and now after having the tail lights for about 2 weeks, im unhappy once again. even though my main purpose is to satisfy me, alot of the people who used to compliment me about by car, think i made a bad decision. ya, im talkin about the general teen public, which really doesnt know the real aspects of this whole car thing. everybody liked the euros way more than my tail lights now and even though euros are ricey and played out, i miss having the "cool civic". but anyways, i guess i shouldn't stress out over something as stupid as tail lights, because once i finish my car, it won't matter what tail lights i have.

P.S. i have a 97 black 2d00r civic. i want to put some WHITE 17's on my car. (im also lookin into the feels kit). what rims do you think would look good (any suggestions?.... or Konig Rated R's vs. Tantrums)

Do a taillight conversion and you'll have a "cool" civic once again. OR you could always get a veilside kit and have it molded on with a new chromalusion paint job. I'm sure they'll think you're "cool" again.

i'll sell you my gen 2 altezzas... they are just collecting dust

If you wanted you could always opt for the clear tail-lights and the rally style tail-light covers. For one hardly anyone has the tail-lights covers And two they look good on civics with clears.

nah, i was just blabbin. deep down, im not really worried about what they think. the other 6 people who drive slammed imports at my school complimented my decision. and i actually do LIKE red/clears. and driving a civic, it's hard not to have somethin already played out...

Red/Clears is probably one of the best decisions you've made... Altezza's are horribly ugly, played out, and they all leak like mofo's unless you pile gobs of weather sealant on them... Fuck what everyone else thinks, get what you like. If I didn't have stock red/clears, I'd get a set myself.

You are trying to please other people who obviously dont know much about cars if they dont notice that your red/clears arent stock... but whatever, buy altezzas again and be "cool" to people who wank off to "Type R" cavaliers :finger:

exactly... most cars are faster than street civics, and will never see your tail lights anyways. :D

Who do you want to please, 16 year old altezza loving kids who don't even own a car, or people who recognize a good looking car when they see them? (me and 75% of the people here :D )

altezzas are ok...they don't look bad at all....but they are just too common place now. I prefer to stay with my stock red clears.

well, im happy with the choice i made and im not changing anymore. now i only got one problem: i bought some APC hyper white blinkers, and i luv the blueish tint they give off at night, but in the daylight they are just white. my friend got some of the same bulbs for his prelude, but they look blueish white all the time... anybody know why?:confused:

ok, i just went outside and took a pic of the back of my civic. ill try to get the pictures developed tomorrow and post a pic. my rear just looks kinda plain. ill prolly stick a banner across the bumper once i get a kit, probably of the producer of the kit.

I'm happy stock and clean...way too many punk kids around my town thinking they all that flashed out. I can't begin to explain how pissed I am at this communty, filled with brainwashed kinds lacking any signs of common sense....just trust yourself and AF and ignore the idiots out there
