Street Racing Version Of The NSX

Edit by mod- You can put them back as images once you resize them.

That NSX is a huge improvement in perspective over the 350, But as for shading use the tones of the picture. Look at it, and make sure it IS that dark, the IS a highlight there, IT IS changing from dark to light. Notice the aspects of the drawing, the surroundings...This all contributes to shading, and etc.

As for Headlight, reflections on those can get REALLY tricky, so TAKE YOUR TIME! That's the biggest part of doing headlights. There are alot of little retarded lines and I know alot of people who give up doing cars BECAUSE the headlights take so long. DO NOT get frustrated...Just have patience, practice and it willl come to you...

Disc Brakes...Hmm, I wouldn't really worry about thoose till you get the major elements of the car(s) downpacked, but try to center them in the wheel, and make sure you include the caliper. Again, have patience and LOOK at what it looks like in the drawing. Then replicate it on paper. Take your time and don't try to do it with one look...

PLEASE!!!! Resize these huge pics. 800pxl would be great.

It's hard to get an overall feel if you can only look at a piece of them.

thanks.

i'd have to say the rsx is just about dead on. minus some detail.

with headlamps: go out to your car. look at them. move your head around the lamp and watch the light shift. and how it effects the complex facets within the housing.

then, get some dealer literature at a showroom. there's tons of beauty pics of cars and shit with headlamps in the glossy pages.

copy them. copy them until you want to throw up. then you will understand what is going on with the details. then go out and look at your own car again. study the headlamps some more. draw them; draw what you see. not what you think you see.

later, you can then make up from your imagination a sort of convincing facsimile of headlamps.

let me tell you right now that you cannot shortcut to headlamps. you will endure torture trying to understand them. you will do lots of attempts and you will hate yourself and life. you will want to die. then, and only then, you will be able to automatically draw them. they are actually easy.
