How much does aPrelude weigh (please help)

Ive been searching the internet for a long time to try to find out how much a 1988 prelude weighs but i cant find info on anything but the newer preludes. If anyone knows or can help i would much appreciate it.

The 1990 weighed 2,566 lbs. according to www.edmunds.com. That should be very close to the weight of the 1988, although the weight they give for the 4th gen is supposedly a lot heavier, because people have weighed their cars with everything in it, a half tank of gas, and themselves and still been a few hundred pounds below the stated weight. But this gives you a general idea.

5th gen is 3042 lbs.

Okay, he didn't ask for a 4th gen or a 5th gen, he asked for a 3rd gen, so both of those weights mean nothing to him.

wow i thought they weighed more like 2300 - 2500 lbs

I just saw one race last week and they're pretty fast

Well like I said, the weight I gave you was from edmunds, and I've heard that people who have had their ludes weighed say they weigh less than what I stated.
