no power to pass wheel

well i have figured out i no longer have power going towards the passenger side wheel. it happened on the way to school today when i ran off the road and the wheel hit a giant pot hole on the side of the road. after getting it home and putting it up on jackstands i discovered i had no power going to the pass. wheel. the transmission is turning but after the first CV joint, there is no rotation. i believe that i am going to have to replace the entire axel or is there a better way?

Replace the axle

If the impact was hard enough to break an axle then there might be more problems.

Control arm bent
Bent wheel

im pretty sure that i broke a joint or something. the wheels and control arms look fine. has anyone had any experience in replacing an axle? i plan on replacing it myself but after looking through the manual it seems a little complicated.

It is actually really simple, just get a Haynes or Helms manual and follow the steps. Even though it's your first time it shouldn't take you to long to get it fixed. Good luck!

The hardest part is removing the axle nut. We have a 3/4" 1000 ft lb impact at the shop and that even struggles once in a while.
