New Beetle Turbo Inner Cooler

The Inner Cooler on my 2003 New Beetle Turbo is cracked. VW wants to charge me $630 for this part, and I am trying to find the part online somewhere to order wholesale and have a friend install it. As I understand, the inner cooler is something like a radiator for the Turbo engine. I cant find it online anywhere, only an actual radiator, which is $250, at the most. Is anyone familiar with this, or could you recommend a website to me? I live in San Diego, if that helps at all. Thank you, and any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!
