Crakcase ....case solved

Thanks to all for your respones they were a great help
.. OK.. as Scoutinkeith mentiond it is refered to as the Crank Position Sensor and has no direct impast on the tachometer not working... It senes the position of the crankcase in reation to the cam. I stopped into my local Dodge dealer and he said the if the CCPS sends no signal your truck won't even start ... made sense to me ... OK .. as how I fixed it ... LOL...just banged on the dash and waaahh LAAA .. my tack worked ..... Seriously ... It must be a bad connection at the gauge itsel behind the cluster... I'm goin in right now to be sure...

Sounds good. Just don't use six or more different topics when you come back to ask about the lifting. We see your posts.
