95 escort missing and dying

my 95 escort is missing as u drive down the road ( doesnt do it all the time and i dont see a pattern to know when it is going to do it) and it almost dies and sometimes dies when u give it gas i have changed the coil pack and plug and plugs wires ive been getting a lot of helpful info from everyone so plz continue also it shocks me when i get out of it and touch the car any suggestion as what i should try next going from cheapest to repair that might help if possible

I'm not sure about this, but there are 4 bolts holding down the coil pack and one of them secures the condenser. Check that the condenser is on one of these bolts and plugged in. I think this is why you are getting shocked. The condenser absorbs residual voltage after the spark plug fires. I'm no expert because if I was I'd be doing this for a living instead of posting on the automotive forum. Just check it out and see.

sometimes the shock isnt that bad but sometimes it hurts alot also i have a 1.9L if that might help anything thanks alot i will check it and see what happens once again thanks alot for the info its really apreciated
