The Bad = Ferrari F50 GT, 12239-7 予価¥41790
(the Price is very expensive, because is a resin kit)
!!!! 1 resin kit is equal to 15 plastic kit. !!!!,
really is very high the quality of a resin kit?

It would make more sense if Tamiya modified their F50 into it. But Tamiya doesn't seem to make much sense lately.
BTW, the Fujimi resin F50GT is fully assembled, it's not a kit-that's one reason it's so much $$.

Am I reading that right for the F50 GT - 41790yen? Must be a prebuilt for that price. :dunno:
Fujimi have offered a few resin kits lately, I imagine they are distributing someboy elses work. It must be cheaper from a licensing point of view given the smaller numbers likely to be involved. Resin is a completely different ketle of fish to injection molded kits. It's not a question of quality (cause they usually aren't great) rather the rarity of the subjects. 100 to 200 dollars is a pretty common price range for 1/24th resin kits.

Let's just be happy that the 550 and 575 aren't resin kits. F50GT transkit might be hard to find now, but old Pantera kits show up on auction often.

Yesss!!!!! Pretty cool that it includes opening doors and some engine detail.
And its coming to the market soon (whereas Revell takes forever). Let's just hope its not too rushed like the 458.

Real customers won't be able to drive the real car by November...so I hope Fujimi isn't rushing it too badly.
But the level of detail and the price are a lot more realistic than expected, considering it's 1000 yen less than Fujimi's new Lambos.
Big question is will Revell do one? Theirs would be undoubtedly less $$, at least in Europe and the US, but enough less $$ to matter, since the Fujimi kit has engine detail and likely properly-sized wheels/tires? Time will tell...but at least this is a sign that Fujimi is actually attempting to compete w/Revell by adding engine detail and pricing it more competitively than one would expect.

and don't forget the opening doors too! At least we know the wheels and brakes will be more realistic than a Revell Version. I'd like to see Revell do the FF and the SLS convertible.

I'm left wondering if Aoshima will come out with a F12 and trump Fujimi like they did with the Aventador

Sounds like the F50GT kit is completed and painted. I'd love to see Fujimi make the Mclaren P1.

This one looks as though it could do a decent job; doesn't look very curbside at all. Added to wish list

I doubt Aoshima have a license to produce Ferrari kits.

At least they made doors that open. But why make the bottom of the seats molded to the pan like their 458? IMO would look good next to a built enzo. Might get one in the distant future.

But is also Revell going to make it in 24th scale?

Looks like a decent kit. Set cushions are puzzling, but then again, a lot of builders don't bother flockign their interiors, etc, so its not that big of a deal really. Harder to paint, yes, but overall, not a deal breaker.

paint seat bottoms wrap around with masking tape and then paint whole tub. easy, maybe even faster than separating seat bottoms from sprue, clean, prime, paint and glue in place

Looks pretty good, but also very diecast like. I wonder if they will sell it built up also with a diecast body? Fujimi is doing alot of that now, and 1/24th diecasts are getting alot more popular due to the price compared to 1/18th.

I should have the Bond submarine kit in my hands in a few days. Almost missed the release, only saw it on a movie model board.

The question is whether this is really new or ex Nichimo or Airfix?

Judging on the the Bond Submarine this is absolutely new development.
