hello.
i have purchased a use 98 bravada with 30k miles, its in GREAT condition, dark green.
the owner before me totally abused the sterio tho, on a low volume they crack and crackle and pop. the speakers are totally blown.

im looking to get a new set of speakers , for the front doors, and the back. possible a sub woofer for the way back and a amp.

i just had a few Q's about it tho.
i relize the sterio in the dash is huge and stock, to buy a upgraded stereo/cd player do i need to customize anything or would it just slide in?

does anyone know the stock sizing of the speakers thru out the car?

to take the door panel off to get the old speaker out, i see two caps were screws are but what else is holding it on?

and lastly, what do you guys recomend for equiptment? i have about 800 bucks to spend. i dont need somthing that is guna rattle everything but i do want a nice sounding system.
thanks alot , mike.

Nope. Just vist www.crutchfield.com They'll be able to show you the answers to your question. You'll be pretty close to the $800 mark if you buy decent replacement speakers and a new CD player. For a nice sub, amp and enclosure you'll be close to $800 all by itself!

I have a 97 bravada, just upgraded damn near everything. Front speakers were 6.5", stock components on the dash, rear doors were 6.5" BE LEERY OF MOUNTING DEPTH, I had to get depth extenders AND cut the door panel to get comps in. The window bar doesnt give you much room to play with. When you get a cd player, youll just need a mounting kit with it.
