Your plug wires are located under the cover on top of the engine. There are 4 bolts (15mm if I remember correctly) that hold the cover in place. Remove the bolts and unplug the wire hareness on the right hand side of the cover. The cover should lift straight up, you may encounter some resistance that is caused by the plug wires holding on to the plugs. carefully continue ro lift off the cover. When removed, turn over the cover and you should see 4 rubber boots (about 4" long), these are the plug wires. If they are not on the cover then they have stayed on the spark plugs, of so look down into the valley on the top center of the motor there you should see the boots, simply pull the wires of the plugs, Remove and replace the wires putting them on the plastic housing, Remove and replace the spark plugs at this time if you are going to.
To return the cover to the engine align the cover and carefully push downif the wires are ligned up the cover will slide down and the cover will line up with the bolt holes, replace the bolts and tighten becarefull not to over tighten so the cover doesn't crack. Plug in the wure harness on the right, the car shoukd be ready to start, if it doesn't startor runs rough then you may have a plug wire that is mis-aligned, you will have to remove the cover and realign the wires.
This all sounds worse than it is once you start tou will see what I'm saying and you shouldn't have any trouble. if you do just let me know and I'll respond A.S.A.P.
Good luck,

Do you know if that would have anything to do with a clicking/rattleing noise, under the hood, in the engine? Because, a mechanic told me it was misfiring and that I need new boots and wires? Help is greatly appreciated...
...Thanks

The spark plug boots (normally known as wires) are available at any good auto parts store that carries tune-up parts. Of all the different types of ignition systems I personally am a lover of Direct Distributorless Ignition Systems or in the quad 4 case Integrated Direct Ignition (IDI)

The mechanic said its misfiring, well is it? I dont know if its the same noise rattling but on my 92 GA GT (Quad 4 also) it is the clutch on the AC compressor. Might be something to check out if you have AC on yours.
