My car is a '02 Accord SE with an auto tranny. Will it work as well as it would with a manual? or will it get any performance gains at all? The turbo kit im talking about is F-MAX kit at www.f-max.com. If not, can I install a performance auto tranny from Level 10 and expect the performance ill get from a manual?

auto tranny is better suited for turbo as the turbo is allowed to spool up and not have to spin down when you hit the throttle. in a manny tranny car, everytime you shift, the turbo spools down since you close the throttle plate each shift. the next gear requires you to have to spool up the turbo again, thus creating a split second loss of power.
the most you'd need to keep your tranny alive would be a new torque converter, preferably a performance unit from Level 10. www.level10.com

i think the best benefit of having an automatic turbo is u can build up boost on the line, manuals cant do that. u also can launch better off the line.
