what did that guy say that cavys are crap that any one who mods them are gay?..what an idiot, i've seen some modded cavys that kick some ass!!!!

you obviously never raced or driven any Cav have ya? even the slowest of the slow cavs are pretty quick. i mean common bak in the day for a 92 and a 2.2l in it would wax a few things out on the road with the same specs

actually, i think the people who came in here speaking negetivly about cav's have also never considered the fact that if you by chance get into an accident your not going to completely pancake your car like say a honda civic would do...they forget that their precious imports are precious cause they crumple like paper when hit or crashed, where as american cars can get hit and be repaired...

actually he drives a domestic, not a import.

yea, i do think that cavys are cool. go look on j-body.com you will see some pretty cool ones.

and i supposed banchi105's ACCLAIM is the car to have...how many of those have you ever seen on the road? i've only seen one in real life on the road, but i've seen about 50 in junk yards all rusted up and fallin apart...marc04, man dont waste your time with the kid, let him have his "acclaim" and his worthless opionions...he prob got laughed off the plymoth board...oh wait NO ONE posted on it...he's just jealous cause we like cars that people actually can mod.

yea...im thinkin anything above and beyond a modded 89' z24 should waste him quite well, even though a non-modded one can probably beat him, he has a problem with modded ones, so rub some salt in the wound

heh i just tracked my car at the races on the weekend, its totally stock, no muffler, no mods, nothin but winter tires still on fron winter time and got a 16.8 at 91mph.........itsa 5 speed man. so that's why i scored good time, its a 1989 btw, let me find a picture

Ok lets look at this rationally -
I have a $9500 (msrp) car and I couldnt even imagine trying to mod it. I mean how stupid could you get. I use it as transportation - here that??? use it to get from one place to another. And here you are buying cars in the same price range - Economy Cars Mind You! :rolleyes: - and acting as if they are sports cars & and is if they are somehow cool in some sort of the sense. But they are not - They are just for transportation no matter how you look at it. If you want a sports car BUY A SPORTS CAR & THEN DECK IT OUT! NOT A CAVALIER OR A HONDA FOR THAT MATTER!

You guys consider that cool - Fine - go watch The Fast & The Furious again.

hmm...sounds to me like your a bit hipocritical there...you should come back when ppl care what you think, which is never...

and see, the big appeal with civics is that you can take an economy car and beat out a sports/performance car that cost double triple or quadruple what you put in your car. the appeal with cav's is that they're american cars, not that many ppl mod them compared to hondas/acuras/etc. plus when a cav beats an import it's a double embarrasment to the owner cause imports and such are supposed to be soo fast and unbeatable in the 1/4 mile so to lose to an american economy car is inconcievable.
