It's not that old (from '99), and not particularly rare-they were quite common kits. They show up on Ebay. It's not a bad kit, though Tamiya's is definitely nicer.

I put together the stap-tite plus version, the one that precedes the kit in the picture, and it was a wonderful kit. The details are pretty close to or even better than, Tamiya in many places. But the fit is no way near as precise and stress-free as Tamiya, especially the wheels which stick out from the fenders.

The good side is that if you want to make an accurate model of the late version of the Acura NSX (before the face-lift, that is), that kit has the right wheels you need.

Revell made the Viper and Diablo in the same way (detailed snapper), and all of the are very good.

are the tail lights molded in red on this kit? I really hate when they do that...it's so annoying.

Why's that? I'm actually annoyed when they aren't!

I don't mind when the tail lights are supposed to be all red, but when the tail lights actually have orange and clear on them, and it's molded red on the kit, then it looks off.

it seems to be pretty common. Also, judging by some of the pics i've seen of it, I think that it's a little too chubby.
