'98 523i A/C, Turn Indicator & Keyless Entry

I have a '98 E39 523i and recently the A/C stops blowing cool air, the turn signal indicator (instrument cluster) does not function but it actually flashes outside and the keyless entry also doesn't work. It is intermittent, works 1 minute and goes off next, then backs on again. Have replaced the slip ring, works OK for a day and then happens again. Anyone experienced similar or have a solution for this. Driving me nuts driving without A/C here in the heat...
