ABS light

Put new disc pads on my 99 taurus and the ABS light in the dash comes on after driving for awhile. When I shut off the engine and restart the light is off but comes on again after a short drive. BTW, I have good solid brake. Any suggestions?

most common problem with taurus abs problems are cracked tone rings on front half shafts - a quick inspection will tell if this is the problem
