Transmission Fluid

Hello, ive got a dumb question to ask. In my owners guide, it says to use Mercon V ATF, i went to walmart and the guy who helped me find my stuff handed me Dexron-III/Mercon, is this the right stuff? or is there fluid that says DExron-III/Mercon V that i should have gotten? I didnt realize he gave me Dexron-III/Mercon until i got home. thanks for the help :)

You need Mercon V. It will only say Mercon V. The guy in the store gave you the wrong stuff.

You're smart to be careful. Wal Mart's in Nevada carry Castrol Mercon V for $3.12 Qt.
