finally raced a stang

so im driving home from work this morning around oh 3 am ish sounds right...not really anyone on the street...not lookin for a race or anything just driving. then i see them headlights coming up quickly im keeping it at a nice cruising speed of 50 (spd limit 40) ^.^ so he mustve been doing about 65. the light ahead turns red so he slammed on his brakes? :screwy: :confused: i would have jus taken it doin 65. i pull up next to him slowly...what is it? a black 94-95 mustang v6...no visual mods and sounded stock. i look over and hes lookin right at me i guess giving me the "intimidating" eye he puts it in neutral and revs up the oh-so-feared v6 i point straight ahead and he nods. im guessing hes thinkin he is gona walk away from me cuz i have a 4 banger :grinno: light goes green i instantly get 1/2 car on him...i keep that length until 50 when i pull to about a car and 1/4...after 70 he just fell behind. we met at the next light where im waiting to give him the thumbs up...punk wouldnt even look over. i wasnt expecting him to peel out at the light but i guess he wanted to make himself feel better for losing earlier. oh i wont have this i catch up quickly and keep ALMOST a 1/2 car length on him...but he backs off like at 65....he slows down even more and takes a turn. another good nite for the tc :biggrin:

they have 140 hp. they also weigh a couple hundred lbs more than your car, they also cost about 1/5 as much these days

alright boys... the early 3.8 engines had 145hp, then 150. in 99 they boosted it to 190, and in 02 it was boosted to 193, in 99 it got boosted to 220t/lbs of torque to, not sure about the older ones on that number

them v6's are slow, and i hate it when their owners try to act all hard-core about owning them. i've run into a few. heh

I have a friend who owns a v-6 he thinks he's hot shit. It's sad really....I also have a friend with a manual TC which is actually kinda cool. Good kill none the less, now go find a GT see to see what your really made of. Heh

the v6ers can have balls if u do some work, but most dont and are retards like the ones being described here... if you stroke it to a 4.2 and stick a blower on it they really have balls, theres a guy in the mustang forum and he has a friend that has one with over 400rwhp from doin that. but you have to replace the rearend and maybe some internals i forget exactly what he did.
