ttops crack

im about to buy a 82 transam ttops ..... there is a crack beside the driver ttop.. just wondering if thats a sereious preoblem or no.. i have seen it on other firebirds aswell

is the crack on the actual t-top??

right beind the ttop.. it doesnt cut accros the seal or anthing..
its about a inch away.. ill show u a picture of different car to give a relation... its at bottum right of the picutre i put a red line where the crack would be..

it doesnt proceed around the lip and it diffenitly is a crack in the mettal
do u think it is serious

thats a pressure crack.. from the frame torque-ing.. in not just a t-top problem.. but due to the t-tops its more common because of how much easier it is to twist withought a solid roof

thats where the rear panel joins the roof, this area is usually soldered from the factory. so it is a crack in that area, nothing serious, jsut needs to be fixed before rust will cause more damage.
