well since nobody has responded to you... I'll tell you what I have for my reg size TB.

My BugFlector is from AVS or Auto Vent Shade. I did alot of looking at different ones and I thought theirs was the sleekest one. Picked it up at PepBoys.

As for the windows I have the WeatherTech in-channel ones in "dark tint." I used to have the "ventvisors" on my old jeep, but they were very flimsy. I got these on my Tahoe and they are great... hence why I put them on the TB too! Got these through one of the online shops... I just went hunting for pricing.

Good luck!

I was looking at the WeatherTechs and they cost in Canada $160.00. No place in the States will ship to Canada. So I am looking at other brands right now.

Thanks for your reply.

I got the Draw-Tite vent visors from BSA of Ohio's ebay store, http://tinyurl.com/7tyml $38/set + $10 shipping. These are the in-channel type (I have seen some that attach to the door frame, exterior of the window channel (adhesive tape, I presume) - IMHO the in-channel type look much better).

I got the GM OEM bug deflector from Factory Auto Part's ebay store, http://stores.ebay.com/parts $64, free shipping. It comes with a fastener set to use the holes already in the hood, and adhesive tape -- installation was quick and simple. I just completed a loop through NC, TN, MS, and AL, and while some kamakazi bugs made it through, a glance at the grill and cargo carrier proved the windshield stayed relatively bug-free.

Both are smoke plastic. I have the tan/beige truck with black trim. The smoke bugshield and vent visors are hardly noticable as they look like additional trim items. I've seen them on a white truck and they didn't look like trim to me; they looked like aftermarket add-on's. Asthetics are a funny thing; that truck owner probably thinks they look great.

FWIW, I also bought a soft roof-top cargo carrier from bsaohio, and I now check them first for all my TB purchases. Their prices are as good as I've found, they ship the same day I paypal, and the stuff is here (NC) within a few days. Highly recommended (never had a problem with them, so I can't speak about customer service, but for routine orders they're great).

[QUOTE=balboasdelight]I got the Draw-Tite vent visors QUOTE]

How do they compare to WeatherTech and do they require tape to hold them in the channels? My windows are tinted so do they rub when you put the window up or down? I do not like the look of the visors taped to the paint.

Thanks

I've never seen WeatherTech, so I can't say how they compare. The Draw-Tite do come with tape that helps hold them in the channels (although I suspect it isn't strictly necessary -- they fit quite tightly in the channels, and I bet they would stay there without the tape). They do not interfere with the window operation at all. I agree that the in-channel designs look much better than those that tape onto the exterior of the door.

Draw-Tite is primarily a hitch and related accessory company. You can read about their vent visors at http://www.draw-tite.com/ (select Air Deflectors from the menu on the left).

balboasdelight, thanks for the info, unfortunatley I called the shop you mentioned and it looks like Draw-tite no longer makes the visor for the extended TB. I will look some more.
