overhead information console

ok heres a good 1....does anyone know whether or not an overhead console and info center from a 92 dodge minivan can be wired in to a 96 dodge ram pickup. I am just looking at installing the info center part of the console. Is there wiring already in the truck in case it was picked as an option and if so where would it be. Would everything work to the truck (eg gas mileage, and distance till empty) or would the same values for the van stay in there. I can get myself the console if it will work.
