i have a 1977 635 or 633 csi . not sure because the plate on the car says 633 but the badge on the back has 635 . the car has a 3.5 fuel injected in it. i thought that only 635 came with it. when i bought the car , someone put an alarm in it and tapped into the wireing, also cut a lot of wires . i drove the car for about 9 months and one day i lost all power.i took it in to have it fixed and it worked fine . soon after that it did it again . the guy told me that there was a short in it.so what i am looking for is a wireing harness for the entire car minus the engine.my car has been sitting in the drive for 3 years and i miss driving it people who have bmws can understand that . the car has power windows, seats, head rests, mirrors, sunroof, and another strange thing is that it has a digital clock in the dash. if anyone can halp it would be great!!!!!

I dont know which models interchange wiring harnesses, but you might have to search wrecking yards and do some investigative work by looking, comparing and taking notes to see what might interchange. As far as 633 vs. 635, dont believe the rear emblems, my 633CSi had a 645 Ci emblem on the back ( dont I wish!!!), more than likely if the door tag says 633, that is what it is, you can probably run the vin and see what the actual motor is. http://www.bmw-z1.com/VIN/VINdecode-e.cgi This should help. Can you trace out the wiring yourself with diagrams? It might be time consuming but not as much as just letting it sit unused. http://www.roadfly.org/bmw/ has a lot of BMW info and wiring diagrams in their forums, just go and look around and ask questions.
