Regular Unleaded

I have a question about using regular unleaded. I was at the gas station and I decided to fill my car up, hit the premium button, then I went to talk to a policeman who was at the station while it filled up (small town I live in). I went back to the pump and it hadn't started so I had to hit the button again and somehow this time I hit the wrong (regular) button. So I filled it up. Then it came out a lot cheaper and I figured it out. Anyway, can I get some information about this and what I should do? I know the reasons behind it like predetonation and everything. I just drove it home without making the turbo spool up and hit the 0 PSI mark. Thanks, sorry for the long story.

don't drive hard until you get it refilled with the good stuff, just make sure you put premium in, and don't do it again. it might not run great, but it probably won't hurt any thing in the long run if you only did it once.

if your in stock trim dont worry about it. i ran my GSX on 85.5 for a year and a half. never had a problem untill about 2 months ago it started to stumble a little bit from 2500-5500. i started running 89 from then on. but like i said dont worry about a tank of low grade i ran and raced on low grade fuel and it never did anything to my car.

you could try adding in premium when you're at like 1/2 a tank or something to get the octane rating up a bit so you don't have to baby it for 300+ miles

Yea I didn't want to baby it so I hooked a hose up to the fuel return line (I'm sure there was a better way I guess) and turned on the engine and pumped it out five gallons at a time. It didn't really take too long to do. Then I filled it up with premium!
