ok i gota a major problem i got some indiglo guages for my 97 civic they didnt have any instructions with them i thought all i was suposed to do is take the arms off and putem on but now nothing works like when my car is turned off it says that im going 25 mph i turn the key off and it goes to 0 mph does anyone know how to get them reset????

you have to recalibrate your needles. You're not supposed to take the needles off. You're supposed to just slide the guages over them.

u dont recalibrate them...u broke it replace a 700 part

You arn't suppose to remove the needles. As GS said, you are supposed to slide the gauges OVER the needles. You'll may need to get a new cluster, so you might want to check out www.car-part.com and also call the local junkyards.

You can call a speedometer shop first if you want to. They would be able to tell you for sure whether your cluster can be fixed or f you broke it beyond repair. If you have to get a new speedo, keep the broken one and take BOTH to a speedometer shop They can match the milegae on the new cluster to the old one for you, but they'll need BOTH the old and new clusters to verify the mileage before they do it.
