i have a 04 cavy and i hooked up an amp and subs to the factory deck, and ran the remote wire from the fuse box, the ground is in the top of the trunk near the lid and the line output converter is hooked up from one speaker to get the mono sound, and it is also grounded to the same place as the amp, but when i shut off my car the subs just pound at the same intensity without the deck evenbeing on, if i open the door they stop for 5-10 seconds and then resume again untill i shut the door, this is repeated until i take out the fuse the remote wire is hooked t,does anyone know whats up?

what did u use for the remote wire (what fuse) it could be one that still gets power all the time, i would just take some of the wire sleeve off of the remote wire on the factory deck or any wire that dosent get power until the cars key is moved to the start or aux position

Yeah, you might try to fine something else for the amp trigger. It might work as an on off switch for the amp but sometimes they'll backfeed and can do weird things. So, the only fix is to find another trigger point, use a diode, or use a relay to isolate it.

why don't you just hook up the amp remote wire straight to the deck, and string it back to the amp, like it should be?

Nope, can't do that on the newer Gm OEM stereos.
