Alright, i'm getting the B18b1 motor from a friend for cheap and since i'm not as experienced with motors as I would like to be I just had a few questions. The 3rd cylinder doesnt fire on it because it has a bent rod and would get stuck if you tried to run it, if the rod is replaced is there anything that would have made the rod bend that would be a seperate problem?? Like if something made the rod bend that would mess something else up that would make the motor a complete waste of time.......What do you think would be a good price that I should pay him for the motor?? Anything i should look out for?? Thanks

that motor is worth absolutely. if you dont have the knowledge of how to pull apart the block and put in a new rod yourself, then you will end up paying the same amount in parts and labor to get it fixed as just bu ying a new one in working condition
