Fs: 72 240z

1972 Dastsun 240Z - comes with a professionally rebuilt 2.8L engine with a mild cam from an '82 280ZX accompanied by the matching 5-speed transmission all with about 41,000 miles. The fuel injection system was scrapped for dual SU carbs. This can pulls very hard for the beastly inline 6 it has. There's a fuel pressure gauge inside the engine compartment. New alternator, starter, battery, master cylinder, braided stainless steel break lines, new rear wheel cylinders on both sides, etc. New brighter headlights (I still have the old ones if you want them). The body is painted Nissan Xterra yellow. As you can see in the pictures, there is some room for improvement in the cosmetic department. Body has about 200,000 miles on it. The typical areas(rear wheel wells, underneath the door) are beginning to show signs of the cancer through the paint, which could be easily repaired. BRE style airdam is attached and painted body color. Fiberglass bumpers are also on, painted body color. The dash comes with a carpet cover. It has the original R180 rear end (needs to be replaced). Inside, the interior carpet and door vinyl have been replaced, The steering wheel and shiftknob are wood. The seats have been replaced with new Mazda Miata seats. All gauges work, including the clock! Radio is only hooked up to two speakers which are mounted behind each seat. Security is achieved with your normal door locks and a fuel cut-off switch which is conveniently hidden in the ashtray. Have most receipts for work done and parts added. Also included are Haynes and Chiltons manuals. Car will come with three extra rims w/ tires (which may need to be replaced) and will also come with headlight covers. This car is my baby and I hate to see her go, but she's too much for me right now.
