Upper Dash Speaker 3rd Gen

ive got a 93 rx7 and my speakers are done... the door speakers shouldnt be a problem to replace, theyre pretty standard, however the little one on top of the dash might be. I brought it to a local electronics place and they said that they dont even know of one that they could put in there... they suggested a tweeter instead... if anyone has ever replaced this speaker can you let me know what you used and approximate cost. Also, any suggestions for the door speakers? Thanks.

hey, I recommend Alpine Type-S speakers. I have them in my FC and they sound beautiful. I would've kept them stock, but the guy who owned the car before me blew them.
