stage 1 cams vs stage 2 cams

looking to get some crower cams and had a few questions
is there a huge difference in the performance of stage 1 vs stage 2
i know stage 2 requires valve spring upgrade
also if i decided to go with the crower stage 2, do i have to get their valve springs because they're like $450
also is looks to me as if there are two stage 2 cams from crower
here is the info on one of them
63402A-2 Stage 2 - Stock idle lobes w/63402-2 VTEC lobes.
Requires #84161 spring/retainer kit.
RPM range idle to 9000+.
Int- 311 mid
Exh-308 mid Int- 255 mid
Exh-248 mid Int- 466 mid

if you get any stage or or higher cams, you must get the spring/retainer kit if you do not want to sacrifice any valves or valve springs breaking off causing more damage to ur motor than you paid to get the cams the kit is worth the money to save any future and more disastrous just do research on it and ask a bunch of professionals at a bunch of different companies. building a motor is all about ur research and patience its all worth.
