Minidreams working on a new MiniTruck!

ok this is an olr revell datsun kingcab with VERY little and Plan detail ! i bought it in 91 LOL! its 1 of those kits i had to have and then when i opened it went WHAT THE HELL! well after i started it and put up about 100 times or more i got it out today to give the wheels and decals to a freind that what them after seeing them on the box while we were loooking throw my stash , so after he left i put the kit back up and then it went back on the bench LOL! I had an idea for it again after looking at , i frist thought 4x4 but then said to my self Slammed and air bagged with a wild paint job , If only i would had stop there ,but if you know me at all I GET NUTS with plastic LOL! well here are some pics of it now i didnt take before shot sorry but when i get started i lose my self LOL!

it has been rework a little : the hood scoops shaved ,made my own phantam grille,wheel wells opened ,handles sanded flat not shaved, rear roll paned , move plate into the tail gate ,oh and i hand made the camper snug top ! plus i added a little beast to the bed ! i plan on putting the tank for the bags in the cab as you will see in the pics the beds full LOL!these arnt the wheels i am useing just here to show the stance!

got the truck in primer now and i went and got some wheels so i fitted them with some really thin rubber and added 4 wheel disc brakes and went to town on the motor ! its still a 4 banger but i pretty it up and walled the engine bay ! hope you like !

Yah where are the tires?? haha. Wait...are they the little black strips around the rim?!?! if they are, i think maybe you should get a wee bit thicker tires :bigthumb:

YEA! Im loving it. Everything. Awesome scratchbuilding! The topper looks great along with the engine bay! Loving the side drafts! As for the wheels.........where did they come from? I might have to track one of these kits down for myself. I too have never liked the look of the cab on this truck, but your topper sets it off! A walk through would have been cool, but I like the bed setup as is!

the wheels are from peguas hobby , they dont look that good on eveything ,and they come with the new tires that are like truck tire tires ,like 23" style but i change the rubber and added disc brakes they seem to fit on this now LOL! love the truck and the cap, and personally i like the second wheels, well i just like chrome wheels on minitrucks. also, i dunno maybe you wouldnt want to, but could you maybe PM me how to make Air bags? if not its alright, nice truck love the rest of your work too

ok i still need to work on the chassie ALOT ! and the interior ant even off the parts tree yet but after starting the body work on this i just had to get some paint on it ! This tops my all time best paint job in my own eyes ,Plus it was FUN! here are a few shots !

still gots lots of work and this thing is going to clear as we speak , !
