I have a 91 integra ls. I bored out a throttle body from a b series zc motor. The throttle bodies are the exact same, except that the new one is bored out to 63mm instead of 58mm. Well I stuck the new one on and it idles at around 3,000 rpm. I put the old one back in and it run normally. when i put the new one in, my check engine light comes on too. I tightend up the idler screw and it went down to to around 25 or 26k rpm but that is as low as it went. I got the old one on it now, but I've done alot more work than this and I'm pissed off that it isn't working correctly. Can anyone give me ideas of why it won't work. All the passages are clear and clean. the new buttlerfly fits nicely. The only thing that I could guess what it would be that idler screw. I tried to take it out to see if it was damaged or a different size than the one that i have from the original idler screw. but it is stuck, I'm sure I can get it out. Is there something I forgot to do?? I need some help!!
thanks

Some kind of sensor problem possibly?? Which MAP sensor are you using?

well first of all the ZC motor is not a b series motor so did you get the TB off of the ZC or another B series engine? If you got it off the ZC then that's why it isnt working correctly. B series stuff doesnt like to match up with d series stuff (ie: b series tranny wont bolt up with a d series motor)

I'm not familiar with japan spec stuff. My friend tries to know but I guess he doesn't. Anyway, if your correct then why do you think it would be messin up?? Flow characteristics?? That is the only thing that I can think of. I had pics to show how similar they look but they are too large.... You think if I bore out my original TB it would work correctly?
