90 seville passenger windw

I have a 1990 cadillac seville and the passenger side windw will go down but not up. I cant get it back up. It is getting power to the plug on the motor both up and down. Ive tried 3 different motors that were good! And they did the same thing. The main switch on the drivers side doesnt do anything and i replaced it and still nothing for the passenger window. Any ideas????

i have the same problem with both front windows on my 91 seville....i am in the middle of working on it...on mine i am suspecting the problem is the window regulator pre load spring.. there is a round spring on the back side of the regulator to help raise the weight of the glass ...on mine the spring is just sitting there without tension...it looks like the whole regulator has to be removed to rewind the spring... ...i will be taking mine apart within the next couple days ...i will let you know what the outcome is...
