Radio and dome light

I drive a 1987 tercel 2 door
My radio was working on and off, now the green light in it lights up, but i get no sound or numbers on the screen. My dome light is also out. I have checked all of the fuses, and they are fine.
Any help would be much appreciated

as to the radio... no idea. toyota makes shitty factory radioes, one of my front channels intermittently goes in and out. my dome light doesn't work eiether... make sure you check the bulb and if that's not it, check the door switches, sometimes they stick, and the wiring for them is under the carpet...
