99 passat window and door lock problem

The windows and the door locks wont work. I checked all the fuses, and checked for wire frays in the drivers door. Just woundering if anyone knows if there is a certain relay fuse or something I am over looking. Thanks Jeff.

I have the same problem tried everything. Supposibly there is a comfort module that controls all of that under the carpet of the drivers seat. It is a black box. Did your gas cap stop popping too.

Thanks for the reply......Yes the gas cap (popper) stopped popping, then the windows and door locks went crazy, then the interior lights stopped working. Now I have nothing. Did you get yours fixed?

I am going to try it this week or so. I will let you know how it works out if you can wait.

hi! if you din't fix your problem yet, you should look at hte wiring under the carpet to the confort module, you have to open up the harness to the module all the way to around the foot rest area, there is a connection that corrodes, resplice and repair the joint.

I believe I have an extra module, if that is bad.
