The Avalanche....

Well, ive been gone for a while, but now I'm back, and now I own a 15" AA Avalanche. So now, here comes the amp part. I need one that does 800w @4ohms, an I'm everything short of rich. I almost decided to just toss over 500 bucks an get a Phoenix Gold Xenon X1200.1 . What u guys think

An why wouldnt I be able to run more subs with the Xtant? plus, Xtant's quality surpasses that of DEI, so to me it would seem like downgrading. An u gotta love the 1200 watts at all impedences

Ya, I was pretty much set on the SX. But I heard so much damn good stuff about it, I had to grab the Ava. So, any recommendation on an amp?

if your lookin to save money then a bx1205d. ED nine.1 would rock it too and sound better and put out more power then the brutus.

it would see more than 450w. i thought the Ava was SVC also, but if you look at the bottom of the T/S listings it says (in very small print) *dual 2ohm voice coils wired in series. so it could be wired to 1ohm nom. to get or w/e it is rated too.

Is it going in ported or sealed?!?! LMK, hit me up on AIM and I'll give you a few "inside" choices ;)

U never said anything about an xtant only a PG. And you can wire that sub to one OR 4 ohms not just 4.
