Do we REALLY need it anymore???
I mean, the larger majority of farming is now done on large, corporate farms and by machinery. Why should we continue to bother with changing our clocks???
Besides, America is basically the only place this rather out-dated practice is still carried on...

since we have to do it and it doesn't look like that we are going to change it very soon we might as well have it on a thursday and have friday as a national holiday so everyone can get use to it.

Yea! Good idea!
On Topic: I think it's a silly idea, I mean... Change your clocks so you will get up earlier and fool yourself into thinking you have more daylight... Because according to the earths rotation, thats what your doing :D

man i got back from Destin, Fl on sat night. then when I woke up I had lost 2 houre of sleep because the time in destin is an hour behind that of Georgia and then on top of that after 2 it was really three....needless to say it was a really tiring and non productive sunday. i also had to get up at 9 for church....

I would much rather have no daylight savings and have it lighter earlier in the morning (much easier to get out of bed :p ) than have an extra hour of daylight in the evening.

I would rather avoid the whole thing. I work swing shift so it's not like I'm going to see the daylight anyway.

I didn't realize DST was still so widely used... Isn't it in Indiana where they choose not to participate or something???
I really just hate this BS about springing forward... Losing an hour is crap.

It's ok, I reckon, but it should start at least 2 or 3 weeks later, and finish 2 or 3 weeks earlier. Otherwise you're just getting up in darkness too much

But what happens to all this daylight that gets saved?
Do we get to use it at a later date?
Can we trade it in for something more useful?
or can we sell it and make a profit?
:D
Daylight savings gets confusing.:(

I hate the time change. Leave it the way it is now.
Monday morning, alarm goes off a 3 am (according to the clock) the brain says time to get up, the body says NO! The brain says it's time to get up, the body says NO it's 2am.
The argument ended 1/2 hour later when my wife got tired of the alarm waking her up, and kicked all of us out of bed!!:D
