I have 2 12" RE's, and I'm trying to find a good budget amp for them.

or..

MTX MXA4002 for $132

or..

HIFONICS ZEUS ZX4000 for $133

2 x 200 Watts @ 2 Ohms
1 x 400 Watts @ 4 Ohms
Bass remote with blue LED power on & indicator included
Ultra Fi Mosfets
Zeus EXVP
Hifonics Surface mount design
Fully adjustable accu-cross X-overs
PWM mosfet power supply
Line output for amp daisy chaining
Variable Bass EQ
Sub-sonic filter

I can't decide which one to get...

If you have others that you know, or have experienced and they are good for the price, let me know.

THanks.

Oh, and i'll be running those REs on about 200rms.

Well, it depends on the subs. Are they DVC? What ohms are they? If they are single coils @ 4ohm then you'll want to look at something in the 2ohm stable area. If they are DVC @ 4ohm then you'll need somethin in the 1ohm stable area.

I was gonna say the HIFONICS amp until I saw the specs. Man, I had a Zeus amp about 10years ago that was something like 1000 watts RMS @ 12v. Man have they really cheapened their stuff.

Sorry, need more info on the subs before I can say. Personally, out of that list, I'd say none of them since they are only 4ohm mono stable.
