Hey guys, i'm looking into buying a hot shot header and I have a few questions. Will I need to put header tape on it to protect it? Also, will it directly bolt on to my stock exhaust? Thanks

btw you do know that the stock header has a cat in it right? and for you to comply with emissions laws in many states you need to buy an aftermarket header with a cat in it also
the downpipe should be part of the header
it may trigger the light if you get the header without the cat in it but im not sure
it shouldnt matter whether its professionally installed or not (just dont do it if you know absolutely nothing)
the only thing in the area that could cause a CE light is the O2 sensor. im not sure how sensitive they are in that car so removing one cat may or may not cause a light

I have to get a header with an aftermarked cat even if I have a second cat on the car? I thought you only had to have one cat.
