MA61, '85 Celica Supra?

Its a Supra, I know, but what is the model code? I think it's MA61, but I can't get it nailed down. If I type "Toyota MA61" into the google image search, I get '78 Celica's (pony car body) in addition to the model above.
Is the Iniline-6 the engine of choice from this generation, the 5MGE?
What were the trim levels for this car? Is there one I should look for, a bad ass rare version (ala Corolla AE86). Is there a trim I should stay away from at all costs?
Was it available with an LSD? If not, is there an LSD off another Toyota that will bolt up?
Anybody own one that can give a testimonial? I know the MA70's and up are more popular. What are the opinions of the Supra Enthusiasts here about the (suposed) 'MA61'?

You have it right, it's much easier to call it an MKII though since everyone reffers to it as that anyway. You got alot of low model Celicas in the search because they share the same body, with a different front end, engine (22R-E), and options. The one pictured would be a P-type, for performance, judging by the fender flares alone. You are correct on the engine also, all the US MKII's came with the 2.8L 5M-GE, late non-US models came with the 3.0L 6M-GE also. There are really only two major options on the MKII I am aware of, the P-type and L-type. I can't tell you much about them but I do know the Luxury-type has no fender flares, a digital dash, and leather seats. While the P-type has cloth seats, analog gauges, the big flares and hatch spoilers. I would think the P-type would be the model to come with the LSD but if you don't get one there are alot of options from the 80's toyota trucks (7.5" I believe). I don't think any of that sounded noob'ish at all, you did your homework before posting. :bigthumb: Good luck if you find a good non-rusted out one, they can be great cars if you know what your doing, I've seen every engine swap imadginable done to the MKII. One question though, who's tak (fujiwara?)?

Thanks man for the post. Any others would be apreciated. I get nervous about putting a truck rear end on a drift car, but it's based out of ignorance. Any other ideas about LSD sources?
Fujiwara... hmmm, you know, I don't know. Tak, I believe is, the main character in Initial-D. A cult hit classic manga about a teen drifting master. His last name could very well be Fujiwara, in which case you already know all that. Initial-D is a joke in the Drifting world, and usually the first thing a noob talks about when considering a racing/drifting machine...
