What are some ways to make my 1991 corolla faster. I have raced with it. I have given it things like stripes and spinners and things like that. I'm adding a spoiler in a few days. I have had a two lane back road sprint race with a Monte Carlo and I actually won. But its slow for acceleration and I was wondering how I could make it a bit faster.

Well, for one, stripes and spinners will slow you down. Stripes will not slow you down, but any bigger or more heavy rims will slow you down. Just to know, why would you mod the outside of a car before the inside? Anyways, look around on the internet for your car. What things people do to it...Modding the motor is much differant then the outside, if you don't have alot of experence on cars, you should not be doing it. Also, how much money do you want to spend? How many miles are on the motor? You can do tons to any car with the right amount of MONEY. How much faster do you want to go? Its not like ''Ok you do this and your car is fast.'' Making a car fast takes time, money, and effort.

my advice is to throw out those spinners and get some good light weight rims...and since when does a corolla look good with spinners? just a question...another word of advice is to not go with an all out ricer look...the corolla deserves so much better than that...and dont put on any spoilers...they will just weight you down and you may say it is good for the aerodynamics and everything, but it wont really help you out until you hit some high hundreds...my last piece of advice is to just do some good engine modding and keeping the exterior of the car stock...after all is said and done you will have yourself one bad ass sleeper corolla...
