Hello all,
I have a 91 cutlass 3.1 C.I. auto. The problem I'm having is the car is continuing to blow 60 amp fuses that are labeled solenoid switch, I have replaced the starter and solenoid and checked the wires and have found no breaks, bare spots or bad connections. The cars will run for a period of time then blow the fuse, replace the fuse and the same thing. Can anyone suggest what to look for now. In advance I really appreciate the help.
Tom

60 amps is a pretty big load. Does it have an electric trunk opener? Is it a convertable?
How about dual cooling fans?
As you can see, I'm all guesses...sorry.

No the car is pretty much a stripped down model with no extras, the 60 amp fuse appears to be for the starting curcuit. Thanks for the reply. Hope you can help
